SOLARIS - MOVEMENT FOR THE RENEWAL OF HUMAN SOULS IN THE SOUL OF JESUS
May Jesus live in our souls!
The “Solaris” movement unites people who want to live in deep personal friendship with Jesus and want to submit their souls to the influence of His Most Holy Soul according to the spirituality imparted by the Servant of God M. Paula Tajber.
We live ordinary lives in our families, parishes, communities, and environments. However, we want our everyday life to be permeated with the awareness that Jesus lives in us and wants to act in us and through us.
Every day we pray the words: “Jesus, living in me”. This prayer, written by M. Paula Tajber, is our act of surrender to the influence of the Soul of Jesus and a renewal of our decision to aim at total union with Jesus, according to the words of St. Paul: “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20).
“Solaris” (Latin for “sunny”) is not only the name of the movement, but also a symbolic name that M. Paula Tajber heard during prayer. It expresses what we want to be – a “reflection” of Christ’s light in the world. Jesus is the only source of goodness and holiness, and we try to reflect that light as the moon reflects the shine of the sun. That mission Pope John Paul II indicated in his apostolic letter Novo millenio ineunte: “Our task, thrilling and difficult as it is, is to be His ‘reflection’. This is the mysterium lunae, which the Fathers of the Church willingly made the object of their contemplation, pointing out in it a symbol of dependence on Christ the Sun, whose light the Church reflects” NMI 54
